Why Kids Get Bored &
Adults Settle for "Meh"

Hi, I'm Michael 👋 A learning specialist who discovered something game-changing through years of university teaching and working with neurodiverse students.
Here's what I learned: our brains latch onto stuff we're actually interested in. Shocking, right? 😄 But here's the thing - both kids and adults deserve activities that match what they genuinely enjoy, not generic stuff that gets boring fast.
How I Figured This Out
So here's my background: I've taught university courses across CS, arts, entrepreneurship, and business. I've mentored neurodiverse students. I've taught martial arts to everyone from 8-year-olds to 28-year-olds.
This pattern became crystal clear in martial arts: Kids would light up when they could visualize themselves as a "ninja," but adults approached it completely differently - more practically, more analytically.
Teaching university students confirmed it: CS students lit up for algorithms, art students for color theory, business students for market strategy. Everyone had their own thing that made them lean forward.
Everyone has their own internal world of what lights them up. We get personalized everything online - but when we want to create something with our hands? Generic coloring books and craft kits.
Watching my nieces and nephews, I kept seeing the same frustrating cycle - parents buying stack after stack of generic coloring books, kids getting bored in minutes, repeat. 💸
Me? I personally love space platforms with lots of different surfaces and stretching designs. But try finding THAT in a generic "adult coloring book." 🚀
That's when AI became powerful enough, and I thought: "What if we could just make exactly what each person wants, when they want it? What if a parent could type 'dinosaurs playing soccer' and get that in 30 seconds? What if I could create my weird space platform designs whenever I needed to unwind?"
That's how colorpages.app was born. No more settling for "close enough." No more wasted money on books that gather dust. Just exactly what captures YOUR mind - whether you're 5 or 55.
